Do you own a swan dulcimer?

Is it possible this could be Homer Ledford's #5400 carved swan head dulcimer from 1990?
There is no builder marking on it.

Do you have the original 5400? Do you know anyone that does? Please contact me if you do.

Julie Ann Johnson on mountain dulcimer

video

This is a few seconds of Julie Ann Johnson recorded on the video clip mode of a Fuji digital camera. It has a tiny built in microphone. I hear lots of buzzing an noise, but it will give you an idea of the sound of my Kurt Simmerman mountain dulcimer. (This one is curly Spanish cedar top and figured mahogany back. :)

Happy Holidays from Mary Z. Cox

Here is the Kurt Simmerman mountain dulcimer that I played in the Old Time Music contest in Brevard, North Carolina this fall. It has a curly Spanish cedar top and a figured mahogany back.
It has a beautiful, clear, and bright tone!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all my friends and family. :)
